Aqua Adventures, Two-tank Reef Dive: Offered in conjunction with UNEXSO (Underwater Explorer's Society), certified divers visit beautiful coral reefs, sunken ships and more.

Dive Today : This program allows you to experience scuba-diving under the guidance of UNEXSO's professional staff. Includes all equipment, instruction and a reef dive.

Dolphin Close Encounter: A unique program featuring a group of bottlenose dolphins, which can be closely observed and interacted with at Sanctuary Bay... take photos, hear interesting facts and ask questions of the Animal Care staff. To assure availability of this popular attraction, if made after arrival please schedule immediately after purchase. Very limited availability for reservations on the island.

Swim with the Dolphins : Enjoy an intimate encounter with the dolphins. A ferry takes you to swim with the dolphins in the protected waters of Sanctuary Bay, where the informative staff will guide the dolphins through a perfect mix of trained behavior and relaxed swimming. Must be at least 12 years old, and if under 16, must be accompanied by a participating adult. Pregnant women cannot participate.

Snorkel with the Dolphins : Snorkel with the dolphins in the open sea. Swim on the shallow reef with a pair of bottlenose dolphins. A dolphin behaviorist will act as guide. Must be at least 12 years old, and if under 16, must be accompanied by a participating adult. Pregnant women cannot participate.

Assistant Dolphin Trainer : An extraordinary experience for those who have dreamed of working with dolphins! Team up with the UNEXSO staff for a day of dolphin care and training. You'll participate in food preparation to swimming with the dolphins and open ocean training. This is a truly rare and special opportunity. Must be at least 16 years old and able to speak English.

Video Snorkeling Adventure : Experience the beauty and color of an underwater coral reef. This complete snorkeling adventure is recorded on video as an exciting souvenir of your visit to Grand Bahama Island. Includes mask, fins, snorkel, snorkeling vest and video.

Snorkeling Sea Safari : Cruise along the beautiful shoreline, then you can shoot down the 100-foot water slide or work your way up the 30-foot rock climbing wall aboard the Fantasia double-deck catamaran. The day rounds out by snorkeling with schools of multicolored fish on the shallow reef. Tour length: 2 hours 15 minutes.

"Pirates of the Bahamas" Bonfire Beach Party : This fun Bonfire Beach Party includes an "all you can eat" Bahamian buffet. Learn Bahamian dances, limbo and dance the night away. Transportation is included. Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

"Forbes Get Around" : See more of Grand Bahama Island with this convenient transportation package. Move easily and comfortably around the island at your own pace in an air-conditioned tour bus. Just present your shuttle pass to the driver and you're off! Bus schedules provided with your pass.

Island Combination Tour : This tour includes the Garden of the Groves, a unique 12-acre botanical garden, "Millionaire's Row", a stop at Taino Beach and an open-air fruit market. A visit to the fabulous shops and local restaurants at Port Lucaya or the International Bazaar is also featured. (Garden of the Groves admission included.)

Fish the Deep : Fishing enthusiasts can head out into the beautiful Bahamian waters for an exciting half day of deep-sea fishing. Four fully equipped boats, with room for up to six fishermen each, leave from Port Lucaya twice daily on these exciting excursions (weather permitting). Daily: 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Robinson Crusoe's Beach Party Cruise : Enjoy snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, then head off with the crew of the Bahama Mama to a private beach for a full Bahamian buffet lunch. Play beach volleyball and other games, or just relax. Complimentary Bahama Mama rum punch and fruit punch / lemonade. Approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Bahama Mama Dinner Cruise and Show : Relax for an unforgettable evening aboard the Bahama Mama catamaran. Enjoy a Bahamian-style dinner with unlimited wine and Bahama Mamas. SeaWorld Explorer : The SeaWorld Explorer doesn't submerge - instead you descend five feet below the surface, into the deep hull of the craft, to view the spectacular coral reef and abundant marine life in air-conditioned comfort. A must do!!! Transportation to the boat is included. 1 hour 30 minutes.

Mango Tango Evening : Spend the evening aboard the Fantasia, a 72-foot double-deck catamaran... Dance to a variety of music, enjoy cultural demonstrations or just lay back sipping your free, unlimited Bahama Mamas. Approximately 2 hours.

Deserted Island Cruise : Take the 45-foot catamaran, Sunshine, to Peterson Cay, the Bahamas' smallest national park, where you can snorkel, watch the cultural demonstration and learn the rich history of the Bahamas… or just simply relax on the secluded island. Approximately 4 hours.

West End Tour : Learn about Grand Bahama's rich history and folklore. Visit island settlements and learn of the island's tie to early US prohibition and bootleggers. Approximately 4 hours.

Lucayan National Park and Cave Tour : Join our experienced guide for a half-day tour of the beautiful 40-acre National Park, featuring wonderful caves where the original inhabitants of the Bahamas, the Arawak Indians, lived well before Columbus landed on Grand Bahama in 1492.

Freeport Attractions


Freeport Harbour : A modern port bustling with trade cargo ships, cruise lines and tugboats. The world famous Pier One Restaurant with its nightly "shark feedings" is located at the Harbour's point.
Rand Nature Center : Near Freeport, is 100 acres of native plants, including 20 different varieties of orchids, graceful pink flamingos and replicas of Lucayan Indian Village life.

International Bazaar : Freeport's number one attraction designed by Hollywood stage designer Robert Perrin, this 10-acre mall displays the architecture of five continents and 25 countries and also includes local flavor with a straw market and perfume factory.

Taino Beach : Just east along the coast from Xanadu Beach features a Fish Fry restaurant and local "conch" shacks.

Sanctuary Bay : Colorful guest houses line the inlet channel leading to Sanctuary Bay, home of the famous "Dolphin Experience", where visitors swim with dolphins.

Lucaya Area Resorts : Includes the Port Lucaya Resort & Marina, an established modern full-service location complete with all facilities of a world-class marina, and the Pelican Bay Resort located next to the Marketplace offering the romance of Caribbean life, a European design and Bahamian hospitality.
